From what we are told the Mt Jefferson riding area will remain OPEN for this year
not sure exactly what changed but the VP for the state sled association was at our last meeting and this year it is open and will be monitored.

I'm hoping the boundry is clearly marked, in the past it was easy to miss the signs, this would help everyone to avoid mistakes.

I had a tracker on me to show where we ride, and that we stay out of the Jefferson bounds. To be honest that area that is closed doesn't interest me much. We played all day on Rea's Peak, and as long as you don't go too far towards the northwest side of Jefferson you'll be safe. Just remember though that all of the Montana area I just mentioned is closed until the 1st of December for snowmobiles.
