Whats the deal with Mt Baker sno park??? Is there enough snow? Is it open? I've seen a few sled heading that direction.....

Was up to schriebers last Saturday and we crossed the creek and almost made it up to the bowls but the rocks weren't filled in enough. They've been getting hammered with snow in the last 24 hours and getting a ton more today and tonight. All I know.

Just a note...... The closed signs are still up at Schriebers Meadow. The rode is open to the bathrooms but closed beyond that. Blue Lake is open and Watson Anderson is rideable too.

Won't be long now.:face-icon-small-hap

AJ , no closed signs. There is over 2 feet at the bathrooms but not by much. The problem is there isn't much more than 2 feet at the main snow bridge. I was there today 11/26/10, at 1:30 p.m. Costed us an A arm on a new Polaris Pro.

Cool- they must have pulled them Thursday. The sign at HWY 20 was up when I went to Blue Lake on Wednesday.

I went up today and the sign was still up saying closed on the highway but there seem to be enough snow. I tired to work my way up to railroad grade and found a few rock but its getting pretty close to being covered up. It seems like we need a deep freeze. It was really nice just to get on the sled and grab the gas. Cant wait to start hill climbing.

I didn't think I was imagining it.lol :face-icon-small-win
The sign at the highway did say closed. It was still up today. I rode up there today and we definitely have 24" though. The meadow was a blast to pound through.

So I guess the guy (Iniquity) who gave me the bad post rating can go fawk himself:laugh:

I didn't notice that closed sign. But if that was the case Blue Lake and Anderson/Watson are also closed. When we talked to the ranger, he said he doesn't go up to check for the two feet. He doesn't want to hike through the snow for 5 miles. He relies on Snowmobilers input and help from others to work together to keep everyone informed.
