Mt. Baker Ski Area

It'll be classic Mt.Baker Ski Area conditions for the comp. The banked slalom course will be like a water-slide - better suited for tubing down.

Just came off the hill from Schriebers side of Baker. Unless they plow tonight, there wont be much for parking tomorrow. It was 34 degrees and snowing pretty good from lake Tyee up. Just giving you guys a heads up as to the parking conditions. (there wasnt any)

Snow level is only going to 2500 up there tomorrow--not like south--it will all be concrete by sunday--then a couple days later---ICE.

Headed up for tomorrow.

Now we know whos tracks we saw turn around part way up the trail.....We got up there, made it half way to the end of the road in the truck, then unloaded and headed up. Randy groomed a day or so ago and the trail was untouched. By the time we turned by the bathrooms to cross the bridge it was over 3' deep where he had groomed. We went up to the creek crossing area and then rode down from there in the creek. Then went and rode in the meadow for 4 hours in bottomless, perfect snow with no one around. What a great day (other than I now need to own a Dragon....thanks Doug;)

Parking is going to be insane tomorrow as is getting up the trail. Have fun, be safe.
