LoL. I have cahones as big as basketballs according to you definition. Was up south climb a couple of weeks ago. I was honestly thinking of just going up and finding a group that would let me hang with them. Everyone I've ever come across up there have been cool dudes and chicks. I just thought I'd throw it out there if someone was reading here. It's about an hour and forty five minuet drive for me. If I get there and cant find a group to ride with I know I'll make a bad decision and ride by myselfI recommend just showing up at the snowpark that you want to sled from, early in the morning, and look around for some people of comparable sled capability and skill levels, and ask to join them. I do this all the time and have never been turned down. And you get to meet new people each time you go out. This works on weekends only. Of course, if you are on the mountain at Pineside or Snowking, then you better have an 800 long track with at least 2" lugs, and cahones as big as basketballs.
Bump.Anyone going this weekend? I'd love to tag along
USFS created a giant problem at Snow King sno park. There is no exit trails that are snowmobile legal, from Snow King. There is no signs giving permission to use the only trail, which is a X country ski trail, in order to get to the mountain. The main road has signs that close it to both vehicle and snowmobile traffic. Smith Butte is not accessible by vehicle. It is a mess and somebody in Trout Lake dropped the ball, big time.
