Also...Are the CMX kits available in Canada? Are the Yeti kits available in the USA? The TS kits, as represented by members on this forum, are available in either country.

I'll fill in the blanks in this post as you provide them.

Please quote your source for the price in your post that would be able to be verified.

Timbersled:
Canada prices I got from a dealer up there today.
Prices do not include taxes.
ST 120 Kit, $5300 USD / $6495 CAD
LT 137 Kit, $6000 USD / $7695 CAD
TFS fit kit, $300. USD / $400 CAD
TSS fit kit, $1100 USD / $1400 CAD

Yeti:
These are prices I got today from A dealers that sell both Yeti and TS.
They said these prices include the fit kit.
Prices do not include tax.
I do not have any US prices for there kit.
120 Kit $10,795 CAD
137 Kit $11,195 CAD

US sales tax ranges from 0% to 8%

Canada sales tax ranges from 5% to 12%

I think if we give everybody a fair shake, we need to include everything to get the bike on snow... Timbersled is a $400 (plus tax) touch here in Canada for a fit kit.

Moto Trax says they include a fit kit. So does Yeti.

You are $6895 with fit kit or $7895 with TSS.

If you pay regular 5% in good old Alberta you are $7239.75 with gst out the door or 8289.75 with tss tax in.

Now you have to buy a bike!

Here in Canada, Yeti looks more and more like a decent buy if I'm spending that much on aluminum anyways. At least the yeti factory is 20 minutes from home if something were to go wrong...

I'm trying to put out an Apples to Apples price list... with a strut rod fit kit which is common to all models.

All prices above in post #1 are with strut-rod (solid rod) fit kits included.

Thanks to all for the input.

Any numbers on the CMX or MTX in Canada?

I see that some include the mounting kit as part of the cost... others break it out separately.

It would be cool to see what the cost of a mount kit is for the bikes that include it in the cost, for when/if you decide to move it to a new/different bike.

Any info on the USD and CDN prices to fill in the blanks on the first post?
Prices with dealers/vendors that have all import fees included...not exchange rates.

Hi Mountainhorse guy,

Do you think this post that is locked in at the top could have some up to date info added that is relevant to what is going on in the market today, with current pricing?

There are many people who use this fourm for information, and people are looking everywhere for that info to make an informed decision. If you are locking in a post so it would be noticed, perhaps it should be correct.

Let me know if I can help you with any info.

Thanks for moderating this stuff, you must be insane by now.

Sincerely
NVRENUF

I have noticed the prices have changed since this thread was a sticky. It either needs to be updated for clarity or removed imo. Thoughts ?
