MPI Turning the Corner??

MPI has had a sketchy reputation in the past due to their lack of customer support and service. It appears, however, that they are making a serious, concerted effort to change that.

I've recently noticed they are making great strides at providing their customers with the support they need, rather than be treated as a "sale and forget". They appear to be able to better answer tuning questions, rather than "let us know your settings when you figure it out".

Hopefully this is a long term change in philosophy from MPI. They are the only S/C company in the game. S/C's aren't for everyone, just like turbo's aren't for everyone. The more GOOD options we have, the better off everyone will be.

Thanks for the efforts, MPI.

Im with ya modsledr. I have a sc and last year was horrible with it and trying to get mpi to help. This year Heath and Schyler are all over the threads I have posted and are really trying to make a turn around. Mac has giving me his phone number to reach after hrs. and on weekends. And not everything is at the cost of the customer. So thumbs up to this thread and MPI for trying to make things right.

2 of my buds ride s/c's and this year these guys have bent over backwards trying to help, phoned the one who lost an oil pump and phoned for 3 hours trying to locate one and phoned him back with it..pretty good service:D

I was wanting a super charger, last year, really bad. All the negative feedback stopped me from it. I went with the mcx.
If I was hearing the things I am now, last year, I would have went with mpi. I still love my turbo.

It is great to see that they have finally seen the light on customer service. I dealt with them a few years back on an 835 Bender engine and after I bought it I was pretty much on my own as they said they dont deal in them any more. This was only four months after I bought it. I had to go to Bender directly for help. Unfortunately I took MPI off of my favorites list on my computer. Pretty bad taste in my mouth from then on. I think they have lost a lot of repeat customers over the years due to poor service. Thank God for them there is always new sledders entering the sport. Hopefully for their future in this sport they keep paying attention to their new found customer support.

Yes we have had some bad service in the past. We are getting better everyday. I am on the forums everyday and trying to help out anyone with our products. I thank you guys for thinking of us with our kits. I am sorry that MPI might have put a bad taste in your mouth in the past but i am here to change that taste. If you have any questions on our kits or how to tune your kit you already have or whatever it might be. I am here 9-5 mst at MPI please do not hesitate to call me with any questions you may have. If i can not answer your question right when you call i WILL make sure i get you a answer to your question that day from someone here at the shop. MPI is not happy until your happy with our products. We stand behind our kit's 100%. Thanks Skyler 888-649-4609 ext 121

I posted last spring on the help I had received from Jarred at MPI after buying my SC Apex used.....with issues. He was very helpful and obviously wanted to get me going. This year I was dealing with something similar and spoke to Mike, Jarred and briefly with Mac. My opinion is these guys are there trying to make things right and take care of their customers. These sleds are an absolute riot to ride....almost to the point it should be illegal or something:):):):D

Thanks MPI for advancing the sport we live for!

I'm happy to see that they are finally stepping up. I would have done a SC Nytro if they had their act together last season. My next build is less than 1 year away. I hope they keep it up :)

Yep I had issues with them years ago and vowed not to go back and I have not as of yet, perhaps if things are looking better I will change my mind....
I could use some new gadgets for ol' blue...
Perhaps they finally realized customer service is dang near the number one aspect people look for????

They have been very helpful with any questions I have had this year. I have been able to get an answer to all my questions the same day.
Thanks for the help MPI.
Too bad the skidoo dealer is not as helpful.

I have been dealing with MPI for the past 5 years and this year has been the best year so far. Every call that I have made has been returned that day. It may have been around 10 pm but it was retuned and that is all that counts. THANKS MPI

not that it matters much, but did you and Heath just get hired on and are turning MPI around? Or did MPI finally realize they need they need to do something?

But it is great that MPI is coming around...

wow this quite the love fest. I just wonder why we cant buy a turn key and go set up or close to it we all strugle year after year. The closest I have ever been to a turn key mod is this year 500 miles and the only thing I have done so far is checked the oil. I hope this is gods way of paying me back for all the years of greif over f@$$ up mod sleds.

I am glad to see that MPI has gotten better I have not delt with them since the mountain max days but I have a few buds that are on cats now due to the lost riding days on their s/c sleds.

For some stupid reason I'm drawn to this thread every day and keep clicking on it.

I honestly hope MPI has turned the corner.

If I ever spend another $ there it will probably require one of two things.
-My s/c fails AGAIN and I need a new blower to sell my sled...
-My wife leaves me. I think she'd kill me otherwise after she personally witnessed Mac give me the worst customer service I've experienced by ANYONE in my whole life. I only spent $5k there, guess it wasn't enough.

I was hired to take over marketing as well as keep up with customer service. Heath comes on line when he is able to he is our tech and helps out with technicaly questions that our sales team can not answer. I am on here a few times a day but for quick service please call me 888-649-4609 ext 121, Thanks Skyler

good to know...I just bought a blower....Was hoping I didn't need any help making it run right, but it's good to know MPI will be there if I do need help...

My dealing with MPI go back the the beginning of the MPI SC days. Having one of the first SC's on the snow, Mac went out of his way to help. Giving me his home and cell #'s and offering to ship parts to Togwotee overnight to keep me on the snow. That said when I moved from my SCRX1 to a SCApex I like many of you had SC issues. Issues I never had with the RX1. Two seasons ago I was in Tog and my con troller took a $hit. Mac had Troy at Alpine give me a replacement controller to get me on the snow. Then when I ran into Mac at the West Yellowstone show to give me the newest controller updates before anyone had them. Last season my controller took another $hit...dead..dead ...dead. No power nothing. Sent it back to MPI and got word they would not warranty it. Funny when it showed back up...It worked . Go figure...lol. I can't tell you how its working as we have no snow in CO this season and I've yet to ride under boost. The stocker back up is getting a few miles though.

Bottom line. Mac has always taken care of me. Thanks Mac.
