There should be good riding down by me this year in June probably, up that one road with that dome. Unload at 7800 feet right on snow.

Good time to rent a place since prices are dropping because most are leaving here, not moving here.

Welcome! It is a beautiful place to live and very conveniant for a sledder and any other outdoor recreationist. Still looks like winter around here and have plenty of snow to ride and a good winter means a good water season too! I'm sure it's similar to Truckee, we just dont have the influx of all the bay and sac valley people that you have. Truckee is a beautiful place! We worked in Glenbrook for about a year on a home and also enjoyed being tourists of the area during that time.

Like mentioned above, it is a great time to find a place to rent or buy here - values have dropped considerabley (I've seen anywhere from 25% to 50% compared to values from a year ago or two). Even though many are still asking for the higher prices, it's the short sales and foreclosures that are bringing the apraisals down.

Going to keep my mouth closed about the job for a bit until all the details are worked out.

Truckee is a great place but there are too many people and you are a slave to your mortgage here IMO.

Plan on buying a house in McCall in the next few weeks (hopefully).
