Moving to Ellensberg this friday hows the riding

I'm going to be moving to ellensberg this friday for probably at least through the winter. How's the riding in the area? Hopefully I can hook up with some people and get to do some good riding this winter, I've been waiting all year for it.:D

You've got plenty of options there. Blewit pass, Manashtash ridge, Salmon La Sac. All we need is snow.:beer;

Welcome to the neighborhood ACIdaho.

Pretty good riding around the area. North, West, and Southeast.

You will get plenty of riding area advice and riders to connect with on this section of the forum. :D

Ya I'm pretty excited to get to go ride with some new people in a new area. Has there been much snow in the mountains yet this year over there?

The snow is just starting to build up. Hopefully this last snow is the beginning of our base. Lots of areas around here to ride. How long you been riding MTNS?

Oh, there is some of the best riding in the state just **** of E-burg. You just go up **** canyon to the ******* and launch. See you there. Won't take long and the locals will clue you in. Can't post it though it's too good.

You obviously don't know what the e-berg locals do then.

Ghalager, Van Epps, Lake Ann, Hex, Recer, LT, Blewett, Lookout mt, French cabin, Gold Creek, Stampeed and kachese (sp) ridge combined might equal McCall but not Cascade.

The kid is moving away from paridise for sno mo compaired WA!

You should take a trip to ID and I'll set you up with a guide that will blow your mind..

I love it here, I've never snowmobiled outside of Idaho but where we ride mcall, cascade, trinities etc. we find good powder everytime we go. Early riding or late riding. I'm looking forward to check out a new area though. I'm sure I'll be making lots of trips back over here for some riding also. As long as I'm on my sled going up hill I'm happy:D

Im from Idaho too but im gonna be spending some time up in Seattle this winter (where im at right now) next trip home I will be bringing my sled back with me! Im starting to get worried with you guys saying its not as good as cascade or mccall! one thing im not sure about since ive never taken my sled out of state, do i need to buy WA tags for my sled?

You still haven't named the place I'm speaking of, so maybe you don't know it either.

I could take you to a place where the meadows are a 1/2 mile wide and miles long. Spent one day going from meadow to meadow and NEVER crossed another track. We ran out of daylight before we ran out of meadows. Snow is Dryer over there too. Thats why it's a well kept secret.
