Moved to Denver, Looking for riding buddies

Just moved to Thornton from Minnesota looking for some riding buddies.
Don't really like to trail ride other than to get to some nice climbs and the fun stuff.
Can ride during the week, weekend, whenever, wherever.
Also wondering where the closest riding is from Denver.

Thanks, Kris

Rabbit Ears Pass seems to be the most popular for the Front Range peeps. Just keep an eye in this forum and you will know where peeps go.

Shoot...you from Waconia? I use to live in Eden Prairie and would boat on Lake Waconia all the time...lost a couple props over on the west side of the lake unfortunately:)

Anyway, you should certainly make plans to attend the Denver Snow Show on October 10th and 11th. Lots and lots of CO riding guys will be there...including myself. Also, look at getting in on the Forum Ride that is over President's Day weekend this year. It is an awesome time and a great way to meet more riding buddies.

If you show up to the Snow Show then we can certainly set up a time to go out for our first ride:):) Assuming there will be snow that is;)

Good luck,
Ryan

Did you bring Lutefisk? We mostly ride Tincup and Cottonwood Pass area and will hop on over to Irwin outside of Crested Butte.

Join the Mile-Hi Snowmobile Club--we meet at the Clements Recreation Center 1580 Yarrow St. Lakewood on the first Weds of the month--see us at the Snow Show at the CSA booth. We have a weekly mid week ride, usually on Weds.

We will have a test and tune ride in mid November in Winter Park and will have a sound test available to see if you conform to next year's 96 DBA We are hoping to have a sled tech on the ride to help with tuning.

btw, the "climb" part of that says you should look at the other thread about avy courses!!! (also at the snow show)

We've got a crew of cheeseheads, fibs & well, minnesotans. I dont know what the heck we call minnesotans? I guess that means they tend to stay in minnesota if we don't have a nasty nickname for them.
Always looking for fun people to ride with.

It seems like there should be an application to group people where they belong (with others).

You know, like do you pull your pants up or let them drag below your ***? DO you put numbers on your sled even though you don't race? Do you put nitrous stickers on your sled even though you dont' have NO2? Do you put other sledders sponsor stickers on your sled so you look just like them?

All kidding aside, welcome to Colorado. The riding here is sick! Keep plugging away on the 4M's and you will find plenty of people ride with.

I think it's Purple People Eaters!?
