are the bands good enough or should i do the weld in bungs, i dont really want to take the y-pipe off again to weld on it since it is a p-i-t-a. I have slp y-pipe im hearing 4" does that sound about right? And i should be running max 1280-1290 degrees?

I am in the process of doing the same thing. Asked the same question on here and the general concensus for the most accurate reading is to weld them in.

Weld them in. The hose clamps can break after time, or if you want to turbo in the future
