mountain riding in kitimat

I would like to know if there is nice mountain riding to be done in Kitimat
or near by.

Not sure on kitamat but go up the road to terrace and they have a few places to ride , haven't personally been to them as we generally don't stop there. North to Stewart/Hyder been there "theres no snow there" ��. Smithers has a good mix of terrain and a number of different places to ride . So mainly in the end it's a matter of what you think is close .

thanks for the nice videos.I might go work there for 3 months from november to january and I was wondering if I should bring my sled.

Definitely bring your sled if you're gonna be there for that long. Contact BigFish BC on here, that's his stomping grounds and he may be able to get you pointed in the right direction. Kitimat gets a huge amount of snow every year and you won't be disappointed. The town itself gets an average annual snowfall of 16.25 ft according to a quick Google search and you could probably times that by 3-4 for the riding areas.

Definitely gets lots of snow in the mountain around Kitimat. Definitely get some ride time there! KC is right, lots of areas to ride!

yes lots of great riding here,4 mtns around kitimat,terrace has 8-10 riding areas 1 hour drive & stewart is about 2.5 hour drive.
we have 2 new cabins too.
make sure to join the club if yah come some good pics of the area & cabins on the site.
