and if you could create a kit for handlebars?

To xsummitx,

where did you get your seat from?

and where can i get a handlebar mod like that, just not so much
lift?

Snowturbo,

that is actually a Scoot that I built. I can provide all of what you see. We actually have a paint process that we have perfected for the scoot bodies so what you see there used to look just like every other 20 year old scoot body. In person, it looks like an exotic sports car, flexes in cold weather weather without cracking or peeling, and comes with a 3 season warranty.

350 for the paint job, most colors including Yamaha Blue

90 for the decal kit

250 for the 3-color seats.

Headlights, handlebars, risers, etc are all avail in different configurations.

Just let me know what you need:)

Thanks!

Thanks! sold one very similar to it a couple months ago. Currently building two a bit beyone this one;)

I am taking orders for other custom builds.

But I would be happy to help with handlebar set ups, new lighting, seats, paint, decals, everything else if you want to do the labor yourself.

Scoot track vs. Sport track: Same lug pattern, same drive pattern and same width, but the Sport track is something like 3 or 4 inches longer. You could adapt a Sport track to a scoot, but good luck finding one. We are working on....mmm lets just say a more apealing option:cool:

BHM,

Is it possible to find a track that could be adapted on without extending the overall length of the track.

say one that has lugs instead of holes, for better traction.

snowturbo,

I researched this one (almost embarassed to say) for almost three seasons. I tried everybody from Camoplast to the real small companies to the Chinese rubber companies. The answer is no, not without a minimum investment of at least $12,000. I was working with one small company in NY who promised the world, but ended up ditching me 3 days before HayDays '07. And the three chinese companies I worked with eventually made it clear that I had no market protection from them whatsoever, and that they may go after it themselves if they saw profitiblity. And bigger companies (USA) were happy to give exclusivity, but wanted $70,000ish to start. There is just no existing track anywhere that would be a direct fit or even close. I even went so far as to try to license Yamaha's molds and drums to make a stock length track with taller paddles...denied, but I understand their postition.

Camoplast has been unreal in their cooperation and support, (Bruce has been a great educator to me, and even had a track overnighted to me to mock up for HayDays when I told him of my plight) but the bottom line is that it takes a fairly enormous amount of capital and resources to make a new design (length, width, pattern, etc) from scratch. SO, we have adapted one of their existing tracks.... which you will see soon.

BHM,

Yea, i understand where the companies are coming from, just starting up a project like that is a big thing.

For this track that you put on yours how much did u have to modify the track mount,?

Is that track 2.52 pitch and did you build new drivers to fit the stock scoot shaft. Looks good. The suspence is killing us scoot diehards. Cant wait to see the rest. The mountian mod snoscoot project is on hold for a little bit til we see this frontend stuff. Dont want to finish fitting pipes til then. BHM might have you do my seat too. Can you get something writen on the seat. Also my dauthers scoot is getting a major update someday BHM style all the way.THANKS.
