Just got my video today!:face-icon-small-hap Great work from the man they call "DOC ZOOM" MMM7 is one of his best videos yet! couldn't believe the climbs that were pulled in the Utah segment and at "Yamafest" and yes of course "Valley Of the Chutes" Speechless! :face-icon-small-con Just wait as you watch Shain Stanger and the Krazy Canadian climb the "Twisted Chute" One of my favorite climbs! Watching the Impules Turbo guys pull some sick pure horsepower pulls, thinking to myself that a Yamaha Nytro with a turbo is purely amazing. Running pounds of BOOST that i never thought was possible, until now.. All around you can't go wrong with MMM7. Specially the sound track! none of that just head banging music..good combination and also great sound of sleds, listing to the turbos spool up.

Still waiting for mine to come in, but Ive watched the teaser a few times and it is clearly going to be a great film. Good job on another great film Greg:beer;

Good job doc!

A few weeks ago I was just brousing Youtube and punched in Mountain Mod Mania and up popped lotsa stuff. I watched the "7" teaser. I was really impressed. Yeah - the sleds were OK too - but I was really taken with the fact that there seemed to be a great lack of Death Metal in a 6 or 7 minute "teaser".

***See Teaser Here***

At the time I thought that it was a cpl yr old version for whatever reason. I really don't pay attention to vids as a rule. And really don't subject myself to Death Metal too often. But after the teaser I was really impressed with the "soundtrack".

I never liked to turn the volume down and watch the other vids b/c there is SOME motor noise and some vocals or narrations in the vids as you go that I don't want to miss, so I end up bangin' my head. While I usta be a Quiet Riot fan when they were new, I can't quite maintain that style for an hr and a half these days on stuff I don't even know. I don't have near enough hair for that anymore.

So I got the disk in this week and gave it a spin this afternoon, and soon realized that this IS the current vid! :rolleyes:

Yes - there is a wee bit of newer heavy rock, but seems like only 15-30 seconds at a time to fill a spot of poor audio near as I can tell. And I can only imagine how difficult it is to get good audio with other sleds at the bottom of the hill, wind, choppers, whatever else...

Otherwise - I have to say - "music" seems to be few and far between, or very subtle in the background that I didn't much notice at all. Instead he has a LOT of audio of MOTORS. 2 strokes, 4, turbos dumping air near the top, and a lot of "awe, no, .... NO! .... Not into the rocks! Oh - that's gunna leave a mark, .... " well you git the idea... And what tunes are there are more tollerable in the first place. This is the first MMM disk I have watched, so maybe this is his SOP? But it's not standard to the industry that I have scene. ;)

I kept watching, intently as The Crazy Canadian was there with his ugly mug in the camera quite a bit. I figgered that his cousins Bob and Doug would have been somewhere around if I watched close enough eh? But the hosers never showed. ??? :o

Now I aint bought a sled video in quite some time, but from what I have seen - if you like Death Metal more than you like sledding - buy the others. If that stuff gives you a bigger headache than following a buddy that's burning AMSOIL - maybe give MMM7 a try. :D
