mountain max vs moutain viper

Got an 03 mm with 151, triple slp pipes, attac system, bar riser, polished tunnel, few other little things and am looking at an 03 viper that has mountain performance tunnel, EZ Ryde suspension,16" 144 track, clutch and secondary setups, heelclicker weights, attac system, few other things also. Need opinions on what u think would be a better sled. The mountain max's are virtually bulletproof, kinda like the vipers but heard they have some overheating issuse. Just wanted some opinions. Thanks guys

They are fairly similar machines. I think the Viper is supposed to rev a little quicker due to the lighter crank but I don't know if you would notice it. The suspension upgrade is the only major difference - there might be some weight loss and trail manner improvement.

Other than that I think it's likely better to stick with the devil you know!

i think the only things the viper has on the MM is a stock camo 144" and the power valves, but you already have a (i'm guessing camoplast) 151 on yours..and all those motor parts, i'd stick with the MM.

The mtn viper has more potential (esp for torque) once you put in the proper nozzle and neddle set up for the triple slps which work the best on the viper(benders on the mms), they can be a very reliable setup(or if you some real fun go to the bender 835 kit.....02

Don't understimate the capability of the Viper, especially since it has a 16" wide track.

Frosty

MM vs Viper

I have had 2 mm and 1 Viper I liked the ride of the viper better and they were bolth stock. My viper dint have a after market head on it and it never over heated. 151 track, SLP pipes.

Thanks again. Going to look at viper on Saturday. From what i hear from guys that know this sled, its a hell of a machine and set up perfectly. See what happens. Thanks again for the info
