Mountain Horse ski allignment

I noticed that my ski looks a little off center. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? If so, what is the best way to fix the problem? I don't think the spindle or anything else is bent it just seems off when your looking at it from sitting on the bike.
thanks

After a crash mine was off center also. Support your bike under the engine, then loosen the tripple trees (including stearing stem), ft axle and the MH fork clamps. Center ski to handlebars and retighten everything. Check and if straight toqure all fastners.

Sweet thanks for the help. I take it triple clamps and triple trees are the same thing? Also I noticed in some pictures it looks like some peoples spindles are mounted more upright that rolled back. Im wondering if that would have an effect on how the bike rides on the trails? I think I might have drilled mine out too far ahead. maybe I should re drill with the spindle more upright?

Move ski pivot rearward

I redirlled my MH fork bracket and moved the ski pivot behind the fork axle to allow the ski to self center easer. My rear fork clamp hole now is almost to the edge (2mm) of the ski bracket.
A noticable improvment on the trail.
I also took Polaris Dragon ski pads and trimed them to replace the Simmons ski pad. The Polaris pads are stiff and help keep the ski planted. Another improvment.
Still not great but much better. One guy in our group purchased the Exployer ski and mounted it to the MH bracket. It is the best set up I have yet ridden, all around.

The pic shows the stock Simmons ski pads (you use only 1) and the modified Polaris ski pads (you need 2).

interesting

that is interesting. I run the explorer front end with ski this weekend and liked the gen 2 simmons better. I was letting the ski pivot like normal on the explorer but front end would push in the soft snow on down hill turns. With the gen 2 i lock up the ski solid for the powder so that could be the diff.

Exployer ski does not pivot

In order to get the Exployer ski to fit the MH mount the rubber mounting was discarded and a Polaris ski mount was used instead. So it only moves forward and back not side to side. That might be the difference.

I got everything Straightened, re drilled the spindle, now everything looks great. Thanks again for the help. Now what to buy next for the Mountain horse?

I put a yosh exhuast and a power commander 5 on the MH. Its def improved all around, mostly in the mid and low rpms. I hate it when I roll on to the throttle in 5th and let off and the engine brakes because the clutch is engaged. I could pull the clutch in but Id rather figure out a setup that is more like a sled and rolls more freely. Maybe the Rekluse core exp clutch?
