My motorcycle has a headlight, but I recently found a Cree 1200 lumen LED bicycle light on Amazon for $26 to use with my Mountain bike. I also got a $5 wide angle lens. I really liked it and bought a second one. You can mount it to your bike, helmet, etc. throw it in your pack and get an extra battery pack and you should have plenty of light when you need it.
