Mountain Addiction Rail Jug Hard to get off

I'm having trouble getting my mountain addiction fuel jug on and off. Like Im having to hammer it on and off. I made sure not to tighten the rails down to much. Still can't get the jugs to just slid. Should I start sanding down the rails little by little? Any tips?

For anyone that hasn't bought one of these I picked up a couple (G2)"gas can thingy's" and they work great. they have a pretty cool mounting system thats easy to get the gas can off. and they have little pockets for storage. Just putting it out there, I've never tried the Mountain addiction ones though.

I had the same problem when I first put one on my sled. I used Pledge on the rails and bottom of the can, then took the can on and off a couple times then sprayed again, did this about 10 times, then didn't have a problem. Make sure you do not make it to easy, a buddy did and he had problems with it coming off when riding. You can also use WD40, hope this helps.

I busted the hell out of my foot knees and hands trying to get the can off its rails the first time I used it on the trail!!! even though it went on and off easily in the garage. After I lubed the rails with motor oil I could get it off and on fairly easily.
After filling the can outdoors at -10 C it swelled up and jumped of the rails in my heated garage. I was concerned that it could have burst and started a fire.
My can and some other guys fell off on the trail even though they were put on properly with the pin in place.
After this we use tie downs and bungie cords to keep the can from falling off when it comes off the rails.
I have read about this issue on this and other forums. Mountain addiction is aware of this problem and offers no remedy according to some posts on this and other forums.
These things are not cheap and should damn well work properly!
The can was not on the rails this summer and the bottom deformed to a concave shape.
It was very difficult to force it back on the rails with a rubber hammer.

HELP!! Please advise where I can buy a better gas can .(G2) "gas can thingys" or others.

I bought mine from Precision power sports In Lethbridge it's an arctic cat dealer.
They also are not cheap though $118.00.

http://www.craiggerbuilt.com that's the website where you can get them for quite a bit cheaper. Didn't bother to look until I already purchased mine.
