mountain 129 mototrax 2018 opinion

i need your opinion on that kit . i don not know noting on snobike and looking foward to go ktm 500 exc low hours on the stret as supermoto and that mototrax 129 kit . it also have tricked toys 11 inch big well kit on back . the complete kit is supposed to only have 2 ride . i reed there is bad opinion on those kit but it seam very well made and nice . i live quebec so do not ride open area like you and do not have 12 feet off snow all year long .

Cisco, it is not one of the most reliable kits. If you don't ride a lot and don't beat on it you could ride quite awhile without issue. It will work fine for your conditions. If your not mechanically inclined or don't want to tinker with the kit it will not be the best choice. I have 300 hrs on a '17 120" and I like it but, I've worked on it a lot.
It should have the front rail stabilizer, they call it a yoke assembly. It should have at least one grease fitting on the rear slide joint. That joint needs grease every ride. The rubber bumpers on the heim joint of the motolink will come out. It will function without them, it just leans easier. On the positive side, imo, it turns/leans/articulates better than a comparable length timbersled kit. But, stock it is not as good in the deep snow. Hope this helps

I have a 2017 Mototrax 120 and 2017 Mototrax 129. Once I added the upgrades they developed to correct the issues, the kit performed much better. I believe by 2018 they had corrected the problems out of the factory, but someone else that owns a 2018 kit may chime in and say different.

The 500 Ktm is 2014 those hare tuff one and only have 31 hour and 1500 kilo on pavement becuse it have supermoto well . Thé track kit brand is wath i do not like . I am a 47 year old french mécanique lol . I do cops car for the city and snomobile tuning at my place as a side Line so know a bit about track but do not know noting about snobike.

Since you live in Quebec it probably makes sense to shop local and buy a Camso or Yeti. Parts will be much easier and faster to come by.
