Mount GEN II 550 Motor in Edge 550 chassis?

Does a 99-03 GEN II 550 motor bolt into a EDGE 550 chassis? I'd be using EDGE motor straps. Is the crankcase bolt pattern identical on the motors? Should I expect any clutch alignment issues due to a longer or shorter case? If so, can I shim the secondary to accommodate? I'd be running a GEN II clutch if it matters. Edge belt. GEN II Y-Pipe, will it connect to the EDGE pipe?

Any help would be appreciated!

I think you are safe. The only changes I've noticed from my 2000 Sport to my 2009 IQ is the pipe/can combo. Go for it. 550iq

Not that familiar with the 550 edge but on the liguids they are tipped forward so you need to use the Edge carb adapters, y pipe, and air box if the Edge 550 is tipped too. Clutches should all line up but may need a shim under the driven to get the offset right.
