Thanks to all who attended to make this Shoot out the biggest yet.

The Alpine Assassins came and were very generous in the donation for our raffle, everyone loved getting the hats, stickers and of course the great DVD's. Wish the weather had been better, but it did clear in the afternoon so we could ride a little.

Thanks to Mt Baker Motosports, Lifestyles Honda/SkiDoo and Skagit Valley Polaris for bringing all the great sleds for us to try out. We really appreciate all of your support and participation in our events.

All in all we think it was a great event and we hope everyone had a good time. We estimated around 800 burgers and hot dogs were eaten, so we had the largest croud ever. Looking forward to next year! Planning starts in October, so anyone interested in helping to plan this event, come to the first meeting.

Thanks again to all who participated.

Thank You!!!

All of us from Mt Baker Moto Sports would like to say thank you to the Northwest Glacier Cruisers and others who helped make this great event happen. I believe this was the largest turnout I have seen. Special thanks to Randy and Lisa Skillman for always making sure our stuff gets to and from the mountain.

And thank you to everyone who stopped by our tent to say hello and demo the Arctic Cat sleds. A sincere thank you to Rod Olson and Jason Coppinger for bringing their personal modified Cats for people to ride.

It is awesome to see such passion for the sport of mountain sledding in this area.

Thanks again

Sat was socked in with a break every once in a while then started snowing.

Other than someone unloading there sled into the front bumper of my truck, breaking the bumper cover, driver side corner, cracked the paint scratching and putting grooves in the plastic cover. No contact info left, just damage. Track leading right to It. It was good to finaly put a face to quite a few names on here and BCR.

If some one is missing a white and black fly helmet a little kid pushed it up and over the fender to the hood. sun morning. Thanks for the extra 6 inch stripe of happiness from the fender to the hood. I set it on a white poo. Kid said it looked like his and he liked it, but it wasn't his. Found the father and asked him if it was his. NO. Asked his son where he got it and all i heard was a mumble, then dad just shrugged his shoulders. It was a great way to start my morning after the afternoon of disrespect the day before.

Should have stayed home.

Brian Donnelly won the Beacon and the Probe!

Sorry for the damage to your rig. We always hope that everything goes well, but things do happen.

At least we didn't have any helicopters this year and as far I know there was no major injuries.

Thanks again to all who attended.

"But things do happen?" Are you the guilty party or associated with the guilty party? Things don't happen and they don't happen when no one accepts responsibility. What a lame excuse. Oh well lets all be PC sorry the damage will personally cost you, no one to blame things just happen.:hippie::hippie:

It wasn't me that was there, it was XPSPENZIV. Everyone likes to have a good time and when things happen people need to nut up. If you are not responsible for your mistakes then your are worthless. Things happen and oh well sorry no one took responsibility, lets keep teaching and showing our youth this and see where we end up. "Party thrown by volunteers." Guess personal responsibility is out the window then. What a joke. Remind me to never be wherever your riding.

XPSPENZIV sorry about the damage to your rig! I hope whoever was responsible has someone do the same to them, and hits there pocket book.

Personal responsibility might be a quality to have in your friends and riding partners!

The truck was on the side of the road just up the hill from where people were loading and unloading. Didnt happen in the parking lot. There wasnt anyone in front of me when i went riding and there was a big space between me and the rig in front of me when i got back. Big enough for a truck and trailer, easily. About the 6th rig up. Shouldve drove the old chevy instead of the mega cab.

Bad luck. Every time i ventured away from my normal riding buddies something happened this year.

NWGC.Thanks for putting on an event where a large group of sledders can meet, make new friends and ride together.

Nice to meet you on the hill this weekend.

It's too bad this crap happened to you, very uncool...:face-icon-small-fro

As part of the NWGC, I appologized for the rig damage only because we like to see everyone have fun and come to the event again next year.
I also wish people would take responsibity for their actions and buck up for the damage. It is not right!
I am not the responsible party and don't know who did it, as I am sure I was busy selling raffle tickets, shirts or something for the club.
Hope to see you next year xpspenziv!

Of course your not the responsible party. I was just making a point about "Things Happen," and things don't just happen. We all talk about self policing and our duty to keep our community informed, but with people that don't take responsibility for their actions and attend our events we are doomed. We cannot downplay the irresponsibility of people at our events at the cost to responsible advocates of the sport. We need to let people know that they will be called out if they don't accept responsibility for their actions and not give them a free pass that things just happen, they are probably on snowest and think they just got over.
