Introducing Rebel Snowbike Gear from Motorfist: The Rebel Snowbike Bib is a technical shell specifically designed and constructed to meet the durability needs of the Snowbike Industry. The Rebel Bib features eVent™ windproof, waterproof, breathable fabric for 100% all day comfort and protection from the elements. In order to meet the snowbiker’s specific needs for durability, Motorfist added a 900D 3-Layer polyester seat & crotch gusset, TenCate Advance™ Burn-Proof fabric along with Nomex® fire-resistant thread. Motorfist’s bib design coupled with the technology needed to keep the snowbiker comfortable and dry is what makes the Rebel Bib the best snowbike bib on the market today.

Burn-Proof TenCate Advance™ Fabric: TenCate Advance™ means protection and durability you can trust. TenCate Advance™ is the best-selling protective outer shell fabric in America. The same fabric has been protecting firefighters for more than two decades. This dependable double fiber blend of DuPont™ Kevlar® and Nomex® offers proven performance. The use of this American made fabric on the lower leg panels offers protection from both high heat and the severe abrasion encountered by all snowbike riders.

The bib is $469.

The bib is VERY limited this year. We didn't make a bunch of these as the materials to get these produced (the burn resistant fabrics) are hard to come by.

But the use of those fabrics is worth it. It won't weigh down like leather with water and feels like nylon. It's the best of both worlds. Surely this will make your bike faster.....:face-icon-small-win

again.....Here is the video of the bib.

I'm interested as well. 34x32 let me know if it's possible to get a pair, thanks.

Guys,

You know just give us a call....1-877-347-8411. Ask for customer service and let them check the stock and see what's available.

On a 34" waist you maybe a L-XL. Nice job on loosing the lbs :) mrsnaglepuss

Glad you guys will be wearing the best snowbike pant out there. The TenCate burn proof fabric is slick. Not heavy like leather and comfortable to wear. Nomex burn proof threads on the high burn risk areas are also a huge plus.

You're kidding, right? If someone can show me a US made decent quality bib then I'll pay $500 for them.

This company makes their gear in the USA. http://www.c3sledgearusa.com/

I believe next year they are going into full production. I may have seen that they may be making a snowbike pant at some point.

I do like the Motorfist design better than the Klim though.

Thanks Mnsnowhawk, I'll be giving them a call tomorrow. Their pants aren't bike specific, but they are only $275 and made in USA. How can they do that when other companies use slave labor in China and cost almost twice the price? I know there can't be $200 more in fabric cost for the others.

I haven't seen them in person, so I'm not sure on quality and features. I've just been keeping an eye on their stuff.

How can they charge twice as much? Because they can and people keep paying...

Great to see Motorfist! Light weight and burn-proof is great, as well as running above the knee. Would suggest you extend that material down to or over the cuff. I've burned mine within an inch of the cuff when lifting my foot off the peg when on a steep sidehill with uphill on the right. Maybe incorporate into next years version and avoid warranty returns; unless same material there but it's just black and not the tan color. That little tip is free since my dad was a Fremont County boy. Go Gem State!

They can charge $500 for made in China Gear because the North american Consumer does not give a ****. Look at Klim when they switched to made in China never made a bit of a difference no one cared --- except the people out of work . Anyone who has Quality made in North America Snowbike pants will have a customer here willing to spend the $400 to $500 bucks.

global economy. deal with it.

anyhoo i was real reluctant to try to motorfist pants as i had some of their boots last year and they were pretty bad. got the trophy pants though and am real impressed. first time i havent been soaked on my bike. they seem real tough and my kneebraces shouldnt dig thru.

By the looks I am at least thinking of it and you are  not so much. If oil stays dow as low as it is for a year or two a lot of Albertans will be in the same Boat as the people of the north american textile industry.
So if I can buy North American made Quality product I will , we still have the right to choose where to spend our $$ and thats all I have to say about that.

I understand the fact that it is difficult to find manufacturing in the US, and sometimes your only option is to go overseas. I get that. My problem is when a company charges as if a product were made in the US and it isn't.

I'm sorry, but to me $500 for a pair of bibs is ridiculous. Last year I rode in very cheap (under $50) waterproof pants while waiting for a snowbike pant to come out, and I did just fine. I'm not about to spend 10 times that just to be the first one on the hill with them.

As I said before, I will spend that kind of money to support a US company with US manufacturing, I'm not broke. Sorry Motorfist, I want to support an Idaho company, but support needs to work both ways and I feel you are taking advantage here.
