Motorfist 2015 line w/ Alpha helmet info***VIDEO***

Here are some of the new products from Motorfist put to some cool action shots and music. The video is pretty awesome by itself.

Of note the new for this year, the Alpha helmet…..1000-1100g AND 30% smaller is actual size when compared to any other helmet. It is the smallest in size and weight of any DOT approved helmet in the world.

The new Peak goggle. Quick lens change capability with awesome anti-fog properties.

80% of the line is new.

New colors this year that are way different then past years.

Check the video and pray for snow folks!!!

When I saw that in the spring, I declared I would be in an Alpha helmet for this season.

Can we get some more information about the Alpha helmet? Like what is new about Composite Fusion 3, etc..

I know I saw the 2015 product manual on here somewhere...I'll see if I can dig it up.

This is from the Motorfist website:

Thx Scott for putting up what you did…..

The size of the helmet in weight and actual size is amazing. The video I will put up soon will show this side by side with our Dominator helmet. The consumer catalog is just days away also and will have even more description to it. I will post that here too.

I will be back soon with a video of the Alpha helmet and description soon. The video is almost done :)

Here is a video on just the Alpha helmet.

By merging a helmet’s shell and foam, we avoid the double impact spike incurred by all other helmets. That is patented.

Traditional Construction

In traditional contruction there gap between the shell and the inner foam? No bueno. That’s what creates the double impact curve seen in the video.

Composite Fusion

This is Motorfist's simplest in-molding design. There is a gap in ALL helmets in the world except ours, where the liner meet the shell. The shell is connected to the liner. Allowing the impact to get straight to the energy-absorbing foam.

Composite Fusion Plus

Now let’s talk foam. The two foams (the cones) working together, like it shows in the video. These are 2D cone shaped….as it were. Those gray triangles are actually cone shapes that help dissipate energy.

Composite Fusion 3

This is the like using 3D cones. They become pyramids. With the pyramid construction they dissipate even more shock from trama then the cones in composite Fusion tech from above. And far exceed what you get in conventional helmet with a gap in the liner to shell.

Hope that makes sense.

What's the difference between the Alfa Carbon Gold and the regular Alfa Carbon?

I've been looking for a new MTN Bike helmet, but I might just buy this instead and use it for both Snowmobiling and Biking.

This is an absolutely huge step in moto/snow helmet tech. With staff members who have suffered neck injuries in the past, a light helmet is a must to allow a full day of riding without a bowl of ibuprofen before the ride. When we first got our hands on the prototype model its size and weight blew us away. We were super stoked to see a helmet in the downhill size range with DOT approval, now we can have confidence in our protection while wearing a helmet that feels like a feather compared to previous offerings.

We will have a a big display and big inventory of these coming into the fall snow show circuit. Come check them out, try them on and see for yourself. Once you wear a >1000g helmet, the hype will all make sense.

So if you opened up the foam and looked at it from above, Composite Fusion would look like a series of long groves and Composite 3 would look like a series of dots.

Composite Fusion makes youR helmets some of the safest available, regardless of price, really great technology and exciting that it's been improved upon.

This is what it looks like on a cut away and with just the cones.

And yes Ice Age is right…..Once you see it and feel how light it is you won't believe it. The actual size of it is one thing. You see it and can't believe it is a large, for example. Then you feel the weight…..it's like nothing compared to any other helmet.

Whitney at MF told me they'll fit right similar with the other sled helmet brands.
