Motor swapability

Is it easy to put an 01 800 motor into an 07 as in the 07 motor is trash and the 01 hit a tree so I gues I'm asking if this is a match when it comes to finding a replacement motor. If not what years of Arctic cat 800 motors are going to be a match for the 2007 800 cat?

i did not kill it, i just found a 174 track machine in nice shape quite inexpensive and that got me to asking questions
