--Some engines last a few thousand miles and others last less that 700. Realistically, yours could go down on the next ride. Some guys have pulled apart their motors just to inspect and found cracked skirts ready to drop.
--Bottom line, do it ASAP, unless warranty is going to cover a new motor, in which case you might end up with a arguably upgraded '13 model which has upgraded crank and thicker skirts, but still has issues.
--IMO, run a RKT piston kit, head to match altitude, and fuel controller if needed
