Motor Mounts...who's replacing them?

I know this was touched on earlier but thought I would bring it back to the top for an "update." So...how many of you decided to go ahead and upgrade to the new 2012 mounts? Is there an easy way to test them (not having to pull the motor)?

Yes...they have made some changes to them. I hear Polaris did this to address the problem some of the 2011's had. I am not sure the EXACT changes that were made but improvements were done.

Have a look at this thread.. it detials the changes.

I hope to have an update soon on the kit.

There is no need to "test" your 2011....they did not fail...the new mounting system is slightly different with some rubber inserts, diff mounts and bolts.

You will need to pull the motor if you want to update.

There were SOME motor mount issues last season...but there is no pressing evidence that you must replace them.
IMO... It is nice being able to bring a previous model year up to current MY standards though.

I am replacing mine with a billet motor mount from power addiction and just a few more billet pieces as well (chuckle chuckle):face-icon-small-ton

I wish It was a little cheaper, $650 is a little hard to swallow for something you don't get to polish and look at.

the motor plate is the cheapest billet part that I am getting from PAthe other pieces that are billet have a steel thingy running through it:face-icon-small-hap
