as i look at out snow maps and the the amount of non riding areas, what is the most benefical group. I am a local member and MN USA member, but looking for a Cooke area, Tog area.

thanks

sledwarriors

this is a new group and we are groing fast
idaho started the sledwarrior
and now we have the Montana SledWarrior

BRC is good but they fight for 4wheelers sleds etc

sledwarriors is a group fighting to stop sled closures period

we feel sleds should be in their own catagory of recreation vehicles

might look at starting a sledwarrior chapter and start raising funds

its been a powerful tool so far for us

I know its the same old story, but every year the riding areas get more and more crowed it seems. I think i part due to that manufactures are making soooo much more new rider friendly sleds. How much do the big 4 put towards protecting riding areas/land closures? Seems they are in a way contributing to the problem?
Seems to get into Cooke, a Pro RMK and a go pro is standard issue.:face-icon-small-hap

just a thought.

I've been told (from someone I trust and who knows their way around this issue) to avoid BRC. He says they collect from snowmobilers but spend the money on 4 wheeler access. His suggestion is to contribute to the land access funds for the various state snowmobile associations. My $.02. Curious what others have to say.
