Most bang for buck oil?

I use Mystik JT-4 full sythetic snowmobile oil. It meets the most current standards (JASO FC & FD, and ISO-L-EGD), and is less than $20/gallon. Near me (Illinois), I can get it at Farm and Fleet stores. Been using it for several years now and no problems and the APV's are as clean as with other oils I have used.

I've had good luck with Yamalube. Around $20 for a gallon most places and if your dealer gets it in bulk, it is an even better deal.

I was using APV oil for a while but was tired of the price ($46 a gallon) up here in AK so I switched to yamalube ($27) and didn't have any problems for the last half of the season but was just making sure I made a good choice for this year!

Is the Mystic the full Syn. version of Citgo sea and snow?

I guess you could say that. Citgo sea and snow is now packaged as Mystic Sea and snow, at least near me. I never ran the Sea and snow in an APV but ran it a lot in non-apv sleds without problem. As I understand it, Sea and Snow is semi-synthetic. The JT-4 is full synthetic. It is cheap enough that I run it in all my sleds now, APV or non-APV.

109 I have run the Citgo Sea and Snow in both my Tcat and my 900 twin, I havent bought any in a while as I got 3 cases, maybe they changed it up.
The only thing I noticed was the oil residue in the power valve? I thought my oiler may have been set on the high side? Ill probably finish off the last case this year! I went this route cause I did not want to spend $40 buck a gallon any more!

That's why I run the JT-4 full synthetic. It is only a few $$ more than the Sea and Snow and the power valves run as clean or cleaner than any other oil I have tried.

I've always run Shell Advance Snow Ultra, Inexpensive and its what Polaris and Arctic cat rebottle and sell you as the " Arctic Cat factory oil" or whatever they call it. So if you have warranty, any issues regarding running it arent going to be a problem.

what oil to use is a**holes, everyone has their own strong opinions on what lube to use.

Personally, after the last year, I' sticking with Legend.
