Montana 410 and 417 Elk tag

I drew an archery elk tag for those districts. If there is anyone out there that could help me get started in any sort of direction will be greatly appreciated. I know some guys on this forum live around that area. Thanks Abunch

410 is south side of the river south of here, good numbers of elk, lots of hunters too, if you don't mind spendin alot of time you can get a real nice bull, alot have good success settin up camp and usin the river to go to different areas

I also drew a tag in 410 been going there for the last 4 fours. Lots of elk and depending on where you plan on going there not always alot of hunters, alot of out a staters just acting like they bow hunt. Just pm me and let me know where you plan on setting up camp and I will see if I can help from there.

Don't think that the river is high enough for a boat but if you have a canoe or something that would be the way to go to get to to the willows

Think about hitting the islands also. Good luck. I've put in for the breaks for years north of the river for rifle without any luck.
