With the cage, is the gauge taller than the top of the hood? Hard to see from the pic.

If you roll the sled is it going to hit the guage, and possably break the hood where the guage cage mounts?

I would imagine that the top is close to the original location on the hood, while the bottom is swung out toward you. That way the guage is looking upwards toward a standing rider.

I would think the handlebars would take the brunt of the force before the guage and at that point, things are gonna ****ed anyway!

I just mounted mine and the highest portion of the gauge is still lower than the top of the hood. If I roll the sled and break the gauge or the mount I'm guessing I'll have a ton of other damage to focus my attention on. It looks killer.

would a guy be able to mount this guage cage on a Diamond S mesh hood? because the guage pods from Diamond S are gross! Just wondering if anybody has thought of this or if anybody has actually done this yet? Is there another bracket we can buy to put on the bottom side to bolt it to or is that something a guy would have to flange up himself?

Yes, there is. Just installed it the other day. AMP's quality is top notch!!
