Mold on gloves! What now?

a little bleach diluted with H2o and spritzed on has worked for me in the past.. I was surprised it didn't turn em white

I'd just through them in the washing machine and see what happens. I mean really what do you have to lose?

Figure out some way to blame it on the wife, and then make her feel guilty to the point, she just buys you a new pair! Problem solved!:face-icon-small-hap

Bleach doesn't kill mold, when doing restoration work we use a product called MicroBan, which u can get from a janitor supply store. It's what hospitals use to clean, kills mold and bacteria and isn't toxic

I'd probably toss them in the garbage and buy some new ones. I doubt the waterproof membrane (gore tex or whatever) will be very solid after mold infestation. I'd probably suggest that you pull them out of your sled and dry them out properly.

Ozone kills the mold and the spores. If you use bleach the spores will not die
and the mold will come back. I would wash them in a bleach solution and then
ask an abatement company to take them on a job and leave them in a house
or car with their ozone generator. Brushes in electric motors also generate
ozone. Leaving them next to one that runs all the time will do the job. Lastly
after washing them and before they are completely dry you may be able to
kill the spores in a microwave oven.

Hey guys,
Wouldn't dry ice kill the mold then just throw them in the wash. or the time and money might not be worth messin with them.
