Modular Helmet Modules?

I have some newbie questions about helmets.
I wear glasses and use a Polaris brand modular helmet. What parts of a modular helmet are swappable? Specifically, can I get different shields to swap in and out? For example, dark tinted for a bright day and maybe yellow for a day when the light is flat? Are the shields brand or model specific or can I get a non Polaris shield for my helmet? Does the helmet size matter?

What other parts are swappable?

In all seriousness, this is the WORST place in all of the interwebz to talk about modular helmets.

The term NFMH was coined on SnoWest--No F_ _ _ ing Modular Helmets

Besides, modular helmets are kinda like the international symbol for "I CAN'T RIDE".

Dump the NMFH and get a nice MX style helmet and some quality over-the-glasses goggles. If you ride in serious cold, get a No Fog neoprene mask.

Seriously..OTG goggles,goggles with fans etc. You'll be much happier in all light conditions. Prescription goggles or better still contacts..

I made a custom thread just for red thumbin punks like this guy.go to fouled plug and check out the crybaby thread.you can get all your butt hurt out on the table in a more suitable thread!!!!

Mortgage Paul uttered the phrase "NiceMFH" and it all started from there. Was about 2002. There is a backstory to the video, so don't take it out of context. I guess those two already had history before that famous helmet cam clip.

In all seriousness, the modular helmet is only meant to be worn on trail systems in North Dakota and Minnesota at club trail rides by the over 50 club for the main purpose of not having to remove their helmet in order to drink a beer.
