what needs to be done to a M10 skid to make it more of a all around skid??

your not going to be able to have an all around skid with the m-10. it was designed to keep the front end down. grab an m-10 jack and you can have a little bit of adjustability. I dont' know if there is a mod to take the live axle out, hearing more reports of live axle not being as good as it should.

Call Lance at Racers Edge and get a set of magnetically adjustable transfer blocks. Works better than a jack, adds no weight, and won't break the bank. I love them in my M-10.

The new live axle version of the 159/162 is way better. I had zero issues with mine for the last season and a half. Wider c to c and the rails were re-engineered to remove the weak points, the rear air shock works great too. Great skid. I'm going with their new 174 this year. IMO the jack or magnetic blocks are a must. I could set mine to give me all the CONTOLLED ski lift I wanted for booning, the whole point of changing the suspension is to be able to control the HP.
Proper mounting is the key to making an M10 work properly and ride like a caddy. Only two guys I'd let mount my skid, Trevor at Macs Machine and Racers Edge.
