Modified SLP Powder Pro Skis

This is a set of modified SLP Powder Pro Skis. These skis have a black body with red trim and cradles. These came off of a Polaris. They are used but in excelent condition. am asking $235.00 for the skis.

Why were the skis modified the way they are? What was the advantage to doing this to them?

Carls Cycle in Boise does it to new ones they sell.

You could call them and see if they would do the mod to your existing PP.

I've also heard of guys just doing it themselves, a table saw would come in handy.

Carbides are included. Might I add, one is chipped.
