I had a 500SS that we built up in 06. Had some Ti bits and other odds and ends on it. It was stretched to a 136", and had a dry weight of around 410. It was a fun little machine. Motor had a RKT head, Ported cylinders, VF3's, bored carbs, and Aaen Single with can. Also opened up the airbox a bit. It was a very very responsive little motor. It liked to run between 8300-8500 RPM and was still the best sounding machine I've ever owned. It would run surprisingly enough neck and neck with stock 800's of the day and half the time pull on them. I really think it had a fair bit to do with the weight.
