Here are pics of some of the vents we carry for the Polaris Dragon/IQ. We have hood vents, side vents, and intake vents kits available. All of our vents are cut on Cnc Machine for the same exact fit every time. Our mesh is also bonded to the frames and all holes are predrilled for an easy installation. We put a layer of prefilter on all sidevents to keep the moisture and fine snow away from the clutches. We can also add a layer of prefilter material to any vent we offer. We supply black aluminum rivets, paper template, and detailed instructions for every vent kit.

WOW looking great! I am happy to see more and more vent kits! Have you run tests on how much cooler the under hood temps are? Also what is are your kit prices?

Thanks much! great looking vents!

We have noticed lower under hood tempratures ranging from 10 -50 degrees cooler. It really depends on whats vents you are running, how many vents you have, and where they are located. We have a side vent and hood vent kit that retails for $145.

A couple of Q's and observation...

What is the price on the vents, seperately for those that may already have side panel or hood vents?
Do you have any pre-season/introductory pricing?

What material are the frames made from?

Do you make them in different colors... the frames... the mesh?

When you say pre-filter, what material are you talking about? The "outwears type" that will not let water pass thru or a "finer mesh" material that will still pass water?

Do you have any pics on a black hood... the black on the white contrast makes them look a bit too big for me but that may just be a color thing...that and painting the hood with the holes black to match behind the mesh so there is not such a contrast in color.

Can you do the mesh on the outside of the frame rather than trapped between the frame the the hood.... the frames act as ice collectors and the mesh seems to shed the snow.

Also... how bout some pix on a 2009+ RMK so that we can see what they look like on an RMK with the new front end next to the hood... the proportions are different in appearance on the 2005-2008 and then the 2009/2010 sleds.

Good questions. The hood vents are $70 a pair $80 with a layer of prefilter. Side are $90 a pair with prefilter on clutch side. Intake vents are $35 a pair with a layer of prefilter. We use frogzskin prefiter on our vents if will not permit any water or fine snow through period. Our vents frames are made of black ABS plastic so you shouldn't have any problems with the frames icing up. We bond the mesh to the frames using an adhesive. We do not wrap the frames, this allows our vents to have a lower profile on the sled. You can order the mesh in seven colors at no extra charge: black, grey, white, red, yellow, blue, and orange. I do not have pictures available on a black sled or the newer Rmks. I'll try to work on that.
