bought a very nice, very expensive 6 wheel kit with freedom axle. finally got the sled done and rode it approx. 10 miles when the track started cogging (skipping) took a look and this is what i found. Notice how both fractures are through threaded holes that appear to have been drilled and tapped way too deep. also wonder about the aluminum hardness of their freedom axle. Have others out there had the same problem?? cant get ahold of MMP to order a new wheel, much less having it powdercoated. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Let's all hope they are finally broke and someone has dozed their shop under several feet of dirt. Did i say that out loud LOL.

The screwed me out of $140 a couple years ago and from a previous thread sounds like they have done it to many others as well. Sorry to have to give you this bad news, but I would be looking to other options if it was me. Maybe someone close to them has more info that may be more helpful.

I must have been one of the lucky ones becuase i have always had good luck dealing with them. I ran their freedom axle for 2 years until i went with one of their 2 wheel axles last year. I think they are just redoing their wed site becasue it is slowiy coming back. However I have not dealt with then since the son took over the snowmobile side of the business. Sorry you guys had such bad luck. I am very happy with there products
