mix ratio ?

who can tell me the mix ratio for a 73 ss elan with the 294 twin ? (HUGE POWER)...lol...

cant go wrong with 33to1... well atlest it would be a good starting...better the oil the less you need as well..spark plugs are cheaper then cylinders

thanx , i mixed the first batch at 40 to 1, but it seemed a little rich, looks like i need more tuning on the tillotson though....

50:1 was factory mixture back then and now . Tilitson 1.5 turns low speed jet, 1 turn high speed jet. staring jetting, both will be running rich.leanb as required.
