Mirror Lake condtions?

Anybody know what the actual conditions are on the hwy as of this last weekend the 18th of November? UDOT claims its closed but I need to know if its drivable or if the gate is closed off and locked at either end Wyoming/Utah. Any info would be great!

I was just about to ask this same thing. I am coming up from Southern Utah and was wondering if you could ride from the closed gate to Bear River Lodge. We were thinking about doing it on Friday.

Rode up Sunday the 18. Gate is open but the no winter maintenance sign is up. Road started getting snow packed at Murdock, we kept going and unloaded at trial lake. There was about 12-16 inches on the highway which hasn't been plowed for a while, and 22-28 in the trees off the road. Had not been a single soul ride anywhere until we did Sunday, awesome ride. Snow had some good moisture in it so your not going to the dirt anymore. Hopefully the road stays snow packed, it's a good start.

Rode on sunday the 18th as well. In the morning when we drove up road had enough snow that we stopped at murdock. Rode up the rode turn off. By the time we got got back to the truck the main rode was melted from where we stopped back to the gate. Need another good storm to ride from the gate.

It has been really warm up there this past week I would imagine its all melted beside what's on top. The weather cameras at bear river lodge show the parking lot there and pretty much all the snow has melted. I have been watching the weather for up there like a hawk and its been dry. ?
