Nov 21-23 it is now the powersports rv and boat show and sale????? We are going to work with the promoters for next year to get it more on track to the industry. Really crappy dates this year too.

Never going to satisfy everyone with the dates. It's either on deer hunting opener, or too close to T-day? Go figure?
I know it's getting more and more of a multi sport show but in this day and age it's almost inevitable (sp)!

Agreed, thats what we need to work on. Although, some of those fish houses were pretty cool last year.
They need more industry involvement. Barstool racing is fun for a little bit, but it isn't really the highlight of our industry. I think an autograph session with Chris Burandt would draw a bigger crowd. More demos and interaction with people, product and seminars.
I think it is tough on the promoters of these shows. They have to schedule and organize show after show all year long. The just can't realistically know what is going to draw people to our industry one weekend and tile floors the next or a sci fi covention the next. We have been talking with the promoters and passing on some ideas for better industry involvement next year.
I gave up going to those shows, seems like a lot of camping stuff..
