Anyone willing to post a picture after you installed your MN tags and required license number?

I can't really decide where to put it without totally ruining the look of the Polaris graphics.

License Mounting

I wouldn't have though of that location. Nice and out of the way.

Why don't you think it's legal? Number size too small?

I think technically the numbers are supposed to be behind the windshield, which is what I believe he's referring to.

Otherwise, the numbers only have to be an inch and a half tall, so no issue there with sizing. :face-icon-small-coo

Below is the official communication from the DNR website for MN. I don't remember reading on the "pan" in previous years communication. My understanding is that it was suppose to be on the upper cowling. I also contemplated putting them on the hood on each side below the windshield behind the lights.

Where:
• Display in the 3” x 7” space provided by the manufacturer on the
cowling or pan, or
• If no space is provided, place on each side of the snowmobile on
the upper half, forward of the handlebars in a visible location.
How:
The DNR issued validation decal must be placed to immediately
follow your registration numbers.
Numbers and letters must be:
• 1- 7/8” high
• 3/16” stroke width
• contrasting color of the snowmobile
• in the English language
• placed to read left to right.

F the Po-lease! Go gansta and make them chase you!

J/k...doesn't MN have those motorcycle plates? The greenies are pushing it in Colorado and we are fighting them on it.

I know im not in MN... But i put mine behind the seat on top of the tunnel... Just behind and in between seat supports. With the underseat bag, its just behind it.

In iowa its supposed to be on top half and front half, which doesnt work for me!

For the past 10 years, I've been putting mine on the tunnel, right below the tank, but as far forward as can be. I live in Washington, but also ride alot in Oregon & Montana, and sometimes Idaho and B.C. I've been stopped and checked numerous times, but no one has ever said anything about the placement.
