Minimum enclosed floor size to haul 4 long tracks?

Hello all...Ive been looking at upgrading from my 3 sled trailer which is a 16' rectangular floor with 4' V-nose for a total trailer length of 20'.

I put my 162" in fwd, skis into the V, and the two 151" tracks in backwards with tunnels on each side of fwd facing tunnel.

At any rate, I would like to put all three sleds in forward without much fuss and fight.

What is the minimum length to put them end to end?

I always thought a 20' box, but Im hearing you have to pigeon toe the two front sleds this way...I say screw that, then Im fighting sleds to fit again.

I potentially could be snagging a fourth sled one of these days too for taking other couples riding once in a while....even more reason for figuring this out once and for all.

Thanks,
Vince

The arctic cat m1100T 162 is 130" long. That's 10'10", call it 11'

Now, to be safe, double that. You are up to 22' without the V nose. Add some gear in there and a bit of breathing room and I would get a 24'-26' before you start with the "V"

Not a huge difference in price when you are getting that size trailer. I would get it plenty big, you wont regret it......

I have a 24' open with a v nose. four 162's fit on it very nice. The bumpers aren't pushing on the snow flaps.

So I would say you want to get a 24' deck as the minimum.

I have a enclosed car trailer that has the wheel wells inside the trailer and can get 4 long tracks in it. The size is 20 foot box with 5 foot v nose. I do have to put 2in facing forward and 2 facing backward but it works out very well for me. I wouldn't go any smaller, but like others have said a couple feet longer would be nice to have at times.

I've got a 7' x 27' aluminum trailer, square of the bed is 22' and the v nose is roughly 3.5' inside. I can fit four 163" sleds inverted side by side, with plenty of room to spare for all our luggage and tools. Don't sell yourself short, get one that you will be happy with for the long haul. On a side note, these trailers make for an excellent storage unit.

We all went to the 27 footer years ago... It is sooo nice..... We always load from the front so sleds are facing the rear.... It is slick in and out.... Plus if you need to you can fit 5 sleds all facing the same direction.... Whats 3 more feet... right... Go big man.... you'll love it....

i bought my first enclosed this year, i bought a 22+5 and do as stated above side by side inverted, and have the v free for fuel/gear/tools and everything else, now i wanna get a sled deck for the truck and pull 6 sleds...5 guys and an extra sled is never a bad idea.

Exactly. 4 any direction and 5 from the front. I would never go smaller.
