Minimum Age at Togwotee?

Not to ride the trail. There is if you rent a sled from Togwotee Lodge it'a 15on the smaller sleds.

Is there a minimum age restriction for drivers on the trails at togwotee pass?
Just kidding buddy, the only law I know of for that is you have to have a drivers license to ride the trails through the park. You also have to have a guide take you and only four stroke sleds. DC not sure if your sled would pass the emissions thingy!!

Here in Wisconsin any one born after 1978 maybe? Have to take a snowmoblie safety class when they are 12 if they want to ride the trails in Wisconsin, they then recieve a snowmobile safety certificate.

What are you talking about??? sunoco 116 with Jegs cherry bomb flavor in the gas!!! My sled smells like a car air freshiner!! Yellowstone will love me.. All the bulls will follow me.. I bet you'll be jealous:D

Last year we stayed at Togwotee and rented a sled for my 15 year old nephew. They never asked his age. They did mention of having to be 16
to drive, but we rented with no problem. My 8 and 9 year olds rode their own machines on a guided tour from Togwotee. And, the guide was fine with it. However, with new corporate owners this year, they may be more strict on the policy of age requirements.

Hell yeah I'm jealous!!!!!!!!!! get it back together yet? Found out why I can't turn right so good, after the weekend where Brandon wrecked his, I hit that rock before him and didn't think much was wrong, my bulk head is pretty pushed back on the left side. Guess it's a good thing I have a frame machine at work, haha! You riding this weekend?

Most states mandate or have in the rules somewhere that you must be at least 12 years old to ride on public lands/trails with a snowmobile. Some require a safety certificate or other form of verification etc. MN driver licenses have it on the back of them if you have taken the class. (I did way back when I was 11 or 12) Of course their is a grandfather clause in their somewhere as well. You can take the class when 11 and the do the on the snow test but you won't receive the license or certificate until you turn 12.

I have seen pretty young kids at Togwotee but not sure if they have been out on the trail or not. Basically just seen them around the lodge or cabins.

Thats what I remember. For some reason I thought that applied everywhere.
I am from Wisco originally .

Tog sure is a good area to bring the kids. So many big meadows to get away from traffic and let the kids rip!

thanks all, we are renting from Jackson, and they have no problem with who drives them as long as someone over twenty one is signing for the sleds. just didn't want to have the potential to be hassled after arriving at the trails.

My son has been riding at Tog since he was 10 now he's 14 he has shocked our guide for years with his riding skills. Last year the giude offerd him a day on his private sled a 700 dragon 162. We had a blast! headed up a nasty chute only the guide and I headed up we thought? got as far as we could get then turned out and stopped. We turned around and sure enough there was my boy right behind us. The rest of the group sat at the bottom amazed also. I know for sure that underage kids need a permit to ride roads in West Yellowstone. We did a mail in test for the last 4 years through fish and game dept.
