Mill hollow deep pow pics from 12-16-08

What a day!! Rode out from Nobletts and it just got deeper and deeper. Then the sun came out once we got toward the top. The photos don't do it justice. Heading back for more tomorrow. Yeah, there are a couple of land mines out there, but when isn't there some risk of hitting something. There's always a 4, 5, 6 foot stump hiding out there in late February that just got covered with the last 12 inches. Game on... Winter's here... nuf said

Keystone... Oh man does that bring back some bad memories Beer's beer out there, it all taste just fine. A nice warm drink might have gone down a little easier today though. Man was it chilly

Good deal. Maybe we'll see you up there. Just one other rig up there today, so I'm guessing it will be hard to miss each other in the parking lot anyway. Weather looks good for tomorrow.

Don't get me wrong, you do still need to keep an eye open for land mines, but they are much much further apart now. Like I said, you can hit something anytime of the year, no matter how much snow. Yes, the odds are higher of hitting something now vs. latter but it's getting pretty deep out there.
