Mild Steel Wear Bars for BRP pilot 6.9 skis??

Does anyone know if mild steel wear bars exist for BRP pilot 6.9 skis? I really do not like the Carbide runners that come with the skis. Caught a rock once in the montains and went from 60 to zero in like nanoseconds!! Anyone??
