On the snow avalanche rescue classes in CO, WY, MN and WI. Prerequisite is 4 hour avalanche awareness, avoidance and rescue class.

I also took your class last year and will be taking it again this year do you have any details on the on the snow class in mn I think I would travel for that one
 
On the snow class in MN will be held Saturday January 12th in Elk River.

Two sessions available:

9am-noon or 1pm-4pm

This will be part of the "Avalanche Boot Camp". You can take the classroom session on Friday night and follow up with on snow rescue training the next day.

You can take both or just one. Prerequisite for the on snow rescue is the 4 hour avalanche awareness, avoidance and rescue class (which you can take at locations all over the country).

Also added some on the snow rescue classes at Vagabond Ranch by Granby, Colorado. www.vrhuts.com Great excuse to head west. "I have to take an avalanche class in Colorado, I hope it doesn't snow too much so we can get there safely." lol.

Potential dates for Vagabond Ranch are Dec 29, Jan 25, Jan 26, Feb 1.

Will be doing two level I snowmobile specific classes at the Silverton Avalanche School. 24 hour class with certificate. Lots of fun and hands-on learning in real avalanche terrain. Use sleds all weekend to access terrain. December 14-16, 2012 or January 18-20, 2013 www.avyschool.org

Mike's class is a must for anyone that puts the track on the snow. Class is for sledders. Our club is planning to provide Mike's class with membership this year. DOIT!

For any Holy Cross Powder Hound members, Mike's class will be October 22nd at 6pm. We are still deciding on the venue but it will very likely be in Edwards. Each membership gets one free class session. Each additional person is $30. If you want to do the class during the week you can join the club for only $5 more than the normal price of the class. You have to be a member for these deals. Thanks Mike.
