Drove up about a quarter mile past where it turns to forest service land and the road makes a sharp left where that creek comes through and there is a slight turnout on the left. Unloaded the bikes there and rode up the road. A few dirt spots, but not bad. Cut off at big Flat,, and gained the ridge in the usual way. Super gully down into dry fork did not have much snow in it and conditions were super slippery and sketchy, plus we could not tell if there was snow all the way down so we aborted and just rode the midway side. Lots of snow, but suncups and old tracks made it bumpy. On snow bikes there is always smooth snow in the steep trees so we still had fun. Just have to be willing to accept going real fast and not being able to stop! Melting fast up there. We were the only ones riding Saturday from about 2 to 6.
