Mid throttle intermitent bog

what was the reason for the tps harness update? Symptoms?

imagine every issue that the TPS causes...no pretend the TPS itself is fine..but the wiring has a short in it...same symptoms but a nightmare to find..

worth the $35 for the harness PN# 2201519

or make your own...

Bogging or lack of power @ around 6500 is symptomatic of EV issue but what many overlook is the EV solenoid. It is a simple valve and can get full of crud and not seal effectively. It can show up as random bogging and not wanting to rev over 65-6800. I found this out one day when the sled suddenly developed this issue. Knowing that the valves were clean I suspected an electrical failure in the solenoid. The on trail "fix"? Jam a bolt in the end of the hose leading down behind the engine from the solenoid. Problem immediately solved. The sled worked great during the remainder of the run.
This may not be a common problem but is sure worth looking at and easy to check.
