Methanol?

Anybody ever mess around with meth injection on a 2 stroke turbo? I used it on my 550 hp Camaro back in the day, and other than the added complexity it worked great for staving off detonation on lower octane fuel. Space is kinda at a premium under the hood of a Pro, but anything's possible with a little ingenuity. I'm visualizing a pressure switch triggering a methanol injector at higher boost. Any thoughts?

yup, on the merc drag outboards...works great, just plan on tearing the motor down every few quarter mile passes to swap out bearings ...lol... alky and oil don't mix well and as alcohol is very very hydrophilic (absorbes water) it causes rust as well as cleaning the oil off the internal engine components.....well you get the picture let the motor sit and you have a rusty nasty mess in there.

Do your self a huge favor and run good gas...

same here, been there done that! until we can direct inject it it is gonna be hard.
