My d8 been leaking some black oily stuff, comes from somewhere under the engine and comes out from the skidplate and leaves a small puddle on the ground. Has anyone experienced this?

Leaking oil on a D8
Check the exhaust valve solenoid pump. It has a discharge hose that vents near the bottom of the engine. Check the "Increasing your IQ" tips above to see how to better improve the performance of your IQ.

That is normal, it is coming from your exhaust valves. You can relocate the drain tube or fabricate a catch canister. Mine has always had a minimal puddle in the bottom of the belly pan, but it never reached a point to where it drains all over the ground. I do clean up the belly pan occasionally to prevent a big mess.
