Was installing my Timbersled a-arms this weekend and thought I was on the large bolt on the lower a-arm for 40 lbs of torque. Instead of an upper at 30 lbs.

Twisted off the nut on the top front stud.

It looks like they are splined press in studs? I'll order a replacement from Polaris today for $7 and a nut for $3.

Anyone else had to replace one of these studs? Just tap it out with a punch or drill it out?

Thanks.

When I put a timbersled skid on my yamaha, I snapped three bolts using a torque wrench.

IMO they cut their threads kind of loose and the SAE bolts they use are weak, so the torque specs they give are too high.

I had no issues after I started torquing by hand.

Dang that's crazy... I just torqued all threadlocked everything down as hard as I could on my zbroz kit..
